Joan Frances Turner may be the most underrated writer in America. Why isn't she famous? I can only attribute this lack of fame to one of two things: Either she has a mediocre agent or she's just publicity shy. Ms. Turner's books are ORIGINAL AND GRIPPING. I'm finding that other authors are now copying her style - and writing from the zombie's perspective (Zombie are people too.) I can't believe I just wrote those words . . . I'm not usually a fan of zombie stories, but Ms. Turner is the exception. Extremely well written and original!

Pick up one of Ms. Turner's books and read it. (Reading in the order written is best, although not necessary.)

I loved the quality of the condition but the book sucked. Author should have written nothing. Would have been more satisfying.
Still in the process of reading this book.
It's a little slow in the beginning and hard to get into but it picks up. Personally, I don't like how the story line moves from person to person. I'd rather it just be from one person's point of view.
Love the series though.
